Three for Three and Two to One

Well, what do you know? Knitters, yarn, and a Mariners WIN! 2-1 over Tampa Bay with a walk-off homerun in the bottom of the ninth. What a game!

My friends and I arrived an hour early; we drank up our chocolate and vanilla shakes as we walked around the lower level concourse enjoying its wide-open views of the field, ever-changing tempting smells from the food vendors and growing energy of game anticipation.

We climbed many, many stairs to the upper level, where we browsed the yarn shops and took in the views of Seattle. The sunshine was so warm and beautiful! Our seats were in the top row--in front of us, knitters and baseball, behind us, yarn and Puget Sound.

I love Safeco Field.

Last Push Before the Games

I'm working hard to finish up a (secret-for-now) project before starting this cute vest. It's my commitment for the Ravelympics over at Ravelry. Can I finish by the closing ceremony? We'll see!

Thursday night I'll be at the Seattle Mariners ballgame for the 4th Annual Stitch-n-Pitch. I hope to see lots of yarn, tons of knitters and a M's win. I'll probably have to settle for two out of three.
