What's new?
This is Teva Durham's Concentric Vest from Interweave Knits Fall 2007.
It has short rows and cables, which is a little confusing.
I think there could have been one or two clarifying sentences in the pattern.
No new photos, but here is my recipe for the Mistake Stitch Scarves.
One ball of Noro Silk Garden (100 meters)
Cast on 27.
Row 1: Knit 2, Purl 2 (last stitch will be purl 1 because of odd number cast on)
Row 2: Purl 2, Knit 2 (last stitch will be knit 1 because of odd number cast on)
I used size 8 needles, and the scarves ended up 4" wide by 27" long, unwashed.
I'm pretty sure I slipped the first stitches of each row.

Not Quite
I did work on that last scarf, even while I was enjoying some New Year's Eve events. The scarf got to watch the ball drop in Times Square at midnight, as well as the mis-fireworks at the Seattle Space Needle (both on tv of course). The fireworks at the Needle didn't quite go off as planned, but the ones that managed to explode were pretty!
Alas, I didn't quite finish that night.
It is done now, so I'll give all six scarves a wash and take pretty pictures before giftwrapping them.
Naturally, I had to start something new on January 1st.
